It's the day before thanksgiving break begins, and my semester ends in about 3 weeks (after this week), and so I started documenting my shit to

I forgot my sketchboook in class.

I'll get around to scanning the decent stuff in my sketchbook eventually.

Okay.

It's not so much that my left click buttons aren't working, it's that that my computer isn't registering the action of a left click?

Like, okay, the type of laptop I have has left click, a scroll click, a right click, then it has a touchpad under that, and then it has another left click and another right click, right?

Neither left clicks are acknowledging a presence, the scroll wheel and right clicks both are.
The touchpad is working fine, except that it's not acknowleding double clicks/left click.

So, I swiched the primary/seconday functions and it turns out that it's the left click function that isn't working, because when I switch them the actual left buttons (now rightclicks) work fine but the right hand buttons (Current left clicks) don't work.


I am so confused.

Any ideas?

SO LAST NIGHT, I WAS WATCHING TORCHWOOD (Dead Man Walking, incase you're curious as to where I am atm) AND I SPAZZED AND KNOCKED MY CUP OF TEA ALL OVER MY LAPTOP.

Now, this is the second time I've done this. The first time was about a month after I got the bloody thing and it was a rather large glass of sweet tea.
I wound up like, mutilating the thing attempting to get it to notstick. Which led to broken keys and it finally getting a new keyboard over the summer.

SO, YEAH. Mugs of tea. I shouldn't be allowed to drink them at night?

Everything is ... okay. The keys are slightly sticky/they don't stick, per se, but they make a sticky sound when I type? IDK. It's annoying but I can deal with that.

My real issue is that my touch pad was refusing to work, and a few hours later it finally started acknowledging my presence (even if it'd only go left and right).
That's working now.

Now I'm having issues with my two left click buttons? My right clicks work fine, but the left clicks need to be like, slammed on when I first start using them, and some times they'll stick and highlight/select like way too much or a program or something and I'll have to escape to get rid of it.

Also, I find it really weird that it's only now that people are like, noticing that I've had a bloody Dalek hanging off my phone since August.

Like, beginning of school, it used to flash and spin around and no one questioned it. Or, like, maybe 3 or 4 people did., but, last week I had... 3 people either pick my phone off up off the table and look at it/ask me what was on my phone, and then tonight Ben did that too.


THERE IS ONE CHICK who's always wearing the red and black Dalek shirt I actually have one too, since tad said I could have his but I said no, but yeah, I wanted him to have it? and I really want to talk to her one day.
But, I'm a chicken and she's always with people and I wouldn't be able to approach her if there were other people and be like "HEY NICE SHIRT" because that's just creepy :/

Class was cool. Adam didn't really like my "NOT MATH" idea thing and I hadn't gotten to talk to Ben before the dinner break because he was doing other shit and I.. don't go out of my way most of the time, yeah? Which is why I only spoke to Adam.

OH SO LET'S TALK ABOUT THE DISTANCE FROM STATION (the sculpture studio) AND MY DORM.

So, DORM -> STATION (about 5 blocks, one of which is a decently inclined hill bc this is baltimore, and a large rickety staircase).
STATION -> DORM (5 blocks, I had to go drop off about 25lbs of plastersculpture that I had had in the studio + 4 flights of stairs)
DORM -> MEYERHOFF (for dinner~). About 2 blocks.)
MEYERHOFF -> STATION (3 blocks + the staircase)
STATION -> DORM (I had to go get a flashlight from my car, thankfully there was one in my room so I only had to go up the 3 flights of stairs and NOT to the very back of the parking lot, in the sketchy sketch neighborhood, where I'm parked, 5 blocks + the 4 staircases)
DORM -> MEYERHOFF (some of my friends were ditching going back to class so I sat with them for a while)
MEYERHOFF -> STATION ( 3 blocks, stairs, etc)
and finally
STATION -> DORM (5 blocks, staircase, plus 10lbs of plaser).

JFKLAJFA. LOL. I MISS MY CAR.

uh, so, yeah. During dinner I came up with a different idea, and Ben thought it was cool beans so I'm going to be trying to do like, a shadow without an obstruction (?) or something like that, an antishadow, that's all light? IDKY.

But Adam was really bitchy all day. And, like, it wasn't just me who felt this way. But then he mentioned that he quit smoking again, so I can forgive him.

I'm just spamming my flist at this point, I guess.

But this was too brill to not post.

But, dude, I got so pissed off reading these answers. Last year we had to write a research paper on banned books, and one of my close friends, who WANTS to be a WRITER was pro-banning books/censoring books.
WTH.
I wanted to go and take something that she wrote her heart and soul into and put a giant X through the middle, see how she likes it :/

It's not up to the library to "protect" you, if your parents feel that something is TOO MATURE for you to read, they should be the ones to address it to you and explain why, not force others to take actions that would effect a large amount of people.

If I were in charge of what books could or could not be read in high school, here is a list of books I would immediately ban:

Lord of the Flies
Anything by Phillip Dick
Anything dealing with Witchcraft
Animal Farm
Slaughterhouse 5


The list goes on, but those are my top 5.

I believe high school students are better served reading classic novels such as "Grapes of Wrath", "Great Gatsby", "1984", "War and Peace" as well as well as biographical books about world leaders and nobel prize winners. Also, poetry by such greats as Robert Frost and plays by people such as Shakespeare.

WTF. How are Gatsby and 1984 "CLASSIC NOVELS" with literary merit but Lord of the Flies and Slaughterhouse 5 not?

So, I was going through the TW genre finders looking for good AU to read,

and last night I attempted to read this TEAM TORCHWOOD GOES GHOST HUNTING FIC

but I was just so confused when reading it because just, god, everything. I got it all out of my system to McShane, though.

However, now I'm reading an OFFICE DRAMA au fic.

And. Just.

Oh my gosh.

It is so ridiculous.

I think I just, like, reached the final straw when Tosh states that it's dead!Lisa's drugdealers who are stalking and beating up Ianto.

And I don't know if I can bring myself to continue reading after that revelation.


Note, I'm still reading it, but I think the only reason I'm still reading it is because the author is making a big deal out of how bad of an eater Jack is and all I can think about while reading this nonsense, therefore, is the cowboyhd gif of John Barrowman stuffing his fucking face and calling the cameraman a bastard.

I figured out what I'm going to do for the first response of my sculpture final todayyy. I'm so excited.

And, Doctor Who finished downloading last night around 1ish I guess? IDK, I was having a lot of trouble on my paper so I didn't watch it then or this morning because, lol, 3 hours of sleep, I wouldnt have been able to concentrate on it then.

SO, after I'm able to use the bathroom bc my roommates must blowdry their hair in there when they have perfectly functional mirrors and outlets in their currently empty bedroom, I'm going to watch that, and then go to dinner, and thennn I'm going to do my drawing homework (: Then, depending on the time, I'm going to put together my sculpture project anddd yeah! If it's too late by then, I'll just do sculpture tomorrow morning.

I also have to start emac sometime, lolol.

MY ANSWERS.

1) It's pretty unfair, because, i'm one of those horrible horrible new who fangirls. So, therefore, anything I have to say about the Doctor is automatic failure.
BUT, uh. Well. I love both Doctor's that I've had so far /cop out.
Like, Christopher had such great episodes and they're all amazing and the beginning of New Who. But at the same time David is just, like, <3. I love him.

2) WELL, I GO TO ART SCHOOL SO MY CLASSES ARE "DRAWING" "SCULPTURE" "ELETRONIC MEDIA" etc, so I feel really lame about this question, lololol.
But, yeah, sculpture class is my favorite. Everyone in my class is so friendly, like, whenever I see any of the kids in my class around school I always get a huge smile and a "hello!!!" and I just love that about my class! And my TA is my art teacher from at home, so, love him to death.
And my actualy teacher is such a sweetheart! Like, I love him to death and yet, he intimidates me and like, I have issues with the stress he's putting on us as freshmen. Like, I get why he's making us do, like, nonsculputral stuff, he wants to make sure that in 3 years when we look back we HAVEN'T just done assignments and shit.
But, I'd like SOME assignments, and it feels weird that the other freshmen scultpure classes get them :/

But on the other hand, I have a crush on this kid in my drawing class and I DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHY. Because he isn't good looking or anything, and he's like, an animu fag. But, I got really excited when his friend noticed that I had a Dalek on my cellphone and the two of them did a little freak out.
So, therefore, as much as I hate my drawing teacher, I like drawing too >______________>


3) Lamb chops with garlic mashed potatos. Like, whenever it's like "TERRI GETS A SPESHUL MEAL" day at home, it has to be lamb chops. MMMMM. LAMB. And whenever I go to like, Outback or something, it's so delicicousss.

4) I will suffer a nervous breakdown by having painting, drawing ii, sculpture, and critical inquiry all at once.
Like, right now I really waste my time because my only "REAL" classes are drawing and sculpture. I can always leave my other homework for a last minute deal, butttt, next semester is srsbns and I'm incapable of not screwing aorund.

5) I love fall (: Like, I hate really hot weather because I love to wear layers upon layers of clothes. So, in the summer I still will wear jeans and two shirts, because I am stupid. And, so, when it gets to the end of september/october and I can wear 2+ shirts without dying of heatstroke, it's amazinggg.
Winter get's a little too cold bc I refuse to wear "winter jackets".
