Things I Did Accomplish This Weekend

I actually just sent in my scholarship images/app. I'm a whole 3 days ahead of schedule, omg.
Tonight I have painting from 4 to 10. Uhhh. So I have to get my stuff together for that soon. I also have to read some 3 chapters for sculpture tomorrow/work on my sketches.
But first, I think I'm going to go and get some lunch (:
Friday morning I had sculpture. My teacher seems nice although I'm going to like die trying to get supplies since I don't have my car. We have metalshop right now so we all have to get out own shit and, yeahhh, I don't have access to junk yards or homedepot anymore :(
Plus there's an asston of reading and I'm afraid of most of the machinery in the shop.
Today I blew 200$ on art supplies because I needed paints and turpinol and gesso :( wth.
So, my winter break started on December 18th. The night before I had my final emac class which went badly because my class can't critique/we're idiots. Then I spent the night packing up all the shit I'd need to take home with me (:
Friday morning I loaded up my care and when to Philadelphia to pick up my sister, then we drove home together to LI.
Uh. Break was good. Before Christmas I saw my friends quite a bit and I played XII. Christmas was good, too. I got a wacom, an external hd, and cs4 along with some other stuff (:
Had a few sleep overs with Megan Nicole and Erika. Played a lot of Monopoly.
New Years was cool beans. Megan and Nicole slept over, they played Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill all day and I wanted to kill myself, and then at like, 3 am we started watching episodes of Detective Conan which I thankfully fell asleep during- they apparently finished with Conan at 7am. When I woke up I played XII for a few hours until they woke up and then Megan started a new file.
UH. Valentine is a total sweetheart, even if she has a biting problem :( We'd cuddle at night. And I miss my darling Olivia :( :( :(
After New Years mom was in the hospital for a week, so it was me and the dogs all day or me going to the hospital to visit. Then Maemae finally lent me Supernatural after I saw an episode on TBS or whatever. So I spent the rest of my vacation watching the first 3 1/2 seasons.
I got back to school on Sunday. Daddy and I got in around 2ish and it was craptacular weather. And of course my id needed to be reactivated so we had to walk to campus safety in the rain because there isn't parking over there really. Then it turns out that they changed the locks on my door so I had to go on a goosechase to find my RA so I could get into my room.
Theeen daddy and I went to Target, Trader Joes, and Giants for supplies because over the break they raised my insurance 2600$ because I'm still a "risk" because of my age and I'm out of the state so that meant I couldn't take my car with me.
We got the insurance changed but until everything goes through I still don't have my car, so, I can't buy groceries.
Uh. So, after daddy left I was unpacking my stuff and I realized that we lost the bag from target that had my new alarm clock and a neopet doll in it :( So daddy had to go to a rite aid and get me a new clock and come back to my dorm :(
monday we had off for martin luther king jr day so I spent the day watching Supernatural.
Tuesday I had drawing ii. We got new syllabus' and the workload got a shitton heavier :( We spent the class doing gesture drawings after dinner and she let us go like an hour and a half early because, god, how long can you do gesture drawings for.
today was my day off so I spent the day watching spn again since I haven't had any of my classes pretty much so I don't have much work I can be doing.
Uhhh. SPN- I just finished season four and so I have 10 episodes of season 5 now? Episode 11 comes out onnn the 21st? lmao, which is tomorrow, so.

I mean, my teacher can be really like, considerate when grading and I had work in class and shit, so it's not like a ~0~ or anything, but still.
The only okay thing was that they other kid who was doing something similar to mine (relying on materials) also couldn't get his to work.
IDK i'm just so tired and I have a shitload of stuff I need to do for tomorrow and I still need to finish packing.
Also, since I'm so behind on the monthlong meme thing, and I probs won't be like going back and catching up, I AM working on a fanfiction for day 15.

That's from this afternoon because I needed a photo for a painting I'm doing and was like "GUESS IM USIN' MY OWN."
God, and what's wrong with my roommates friends. They were busy standing in the hallway instead of in my roommates room or the living room and one of them was screwing around with my door and managed to open it not once, but twice. Because after the first time he didn't realize that that would happen?
And my door needs an extra push to open, too >:(

LOL DUE MONDAY, GET CRACKIN'.
So, last night I went to bed around 3/4ish because of ... well, Dharry fanfiction, what? / Planning my day 15 of the meme ;D
So, today I got up at 11:30 (note, my alarm was set to wake me up at 9, but I turned it off around 8:30, lawl). And I took a shower. And then I fooled around with my Pepper's Ghost box.
I left for class around 3:30 and got there a few minutes later and I looked up prices on Plexiglas for a little bit. Then my class did teacher evaluations and I told Bed that I was going to go to Lowes to get Plexiglas for my project and he was like "ok, just come back afterwords so we can talk."
SO. I "left" the studio aroundddd hm. 4:40 ish, maybe? And by "left" I mean I was on the phone with my mam/the bank trying to figure out how much money I had in my checking account.
SO, I left the parking lot atttt 5ish? Maybe a little after.
Garmin said it took maybe 15 minutes to get there.
It took me about 45.
Because I can't drive, oh my fucking god. I missed so many turns. And then I wound up, like, taking all these really sketchy streets that were made even more sketchy by it being pitch black outside.
SO I got to Lowes eventually. And I found the glass, and they had like, a 72x42in piece that was perfect, it was 50$ and so I merrily bought it and skipped out to the parking lot.
And then it was like "hm. how am I going to fit this in my car." Daddy was like "your back seats fold down so you can have it in there/coming out of the trunk/just tie the trunk down.
BUUUT, I had like a lot of shit that I was taking /out/ of the studio because I needed to photograph it for next week.
Some lady was very nice and stopped to help me but I told her I had it covered (:
the glass fit justttt right, I had to bend it a little but I was able to get it all the way in my car/was able to close the trunk/get all my shit into the c-- Oops, I left my jacket in there. OH WELL.
Except I couldn't see my blind spot. :/
So, I got back to Station at 7. And I was like "ok, cool, I have time for dinner" so I decided to go to Doris and get a sandwich instead of going to the Meyerhoff.
Exceeeept. They didn't have any good sandwiches left ;______; So I had a plain bagel for dinner. And a coffee. Except Doris makes the worst coffee on earth
SO THEN, I went back to Station at like 7:30 and I was like "okay Ben, can I hang this or sommat?"
And we decided to make a frame for the plexiglas except I had no wood. So, Ben gave me some of the Forms wood and was like "ok, you and Adam cut the wood and get me when youre done."
So I'm like "ok" and was measuring out strips.
And eventually Ben was like "oh, just use the bandsaw with the measure!" so I'm like, ok. And Adam and I kind of stood around for like 20 minutes waiting for the bandsaw to open up. And then it broke (?). Something. IDK. We couldn't use it apparently.
So then Adam was like "ok, jigsaw~" and we spent like 10 minutes trying to get all of that set up, before Adam was like "Hey, Ben, can I just use the table saw and cut it for her?" and Ben was like "that's a great idea~!" and so Adam cut it all in like 5 minutes :/
SO THEN I had to cut out little stablizer things for the frame and I am horrible at using the jigsaw, omg, and it took me like 15 minutes to cut 4 pieces of wood.
THEEEN Adam and I screwed the frame together, and by then it was like, 10 after 9. And then Ben, Adam, and I managed to screw the plexiglas to the frame and it's pretty stable!
Except I need to go there, idk, tomorrow afternoon, I guess, and bring it back here because I need to (a) make little legs for it so it can stand up on it's own and (b) take photos of it.
---Note, this afternoon I was planning on just ditching class. But, fucking hell, I was there until clean up working.

Okay. I was all ready to make a post saying "I can't think of any photos that make me angry or sad" but I decided to check fandom secrets first, and JESUS CHRIST, 180.
OKAY.
SO.
I DON'T AGREE WITH YOU ANON.
First off, I'm going to acknowledge the difference between "in love with" and "loves him" and I am going to assume that the anon was being specific with their diction.
I think Jack was in love with Ianto- I mean, he loves him, of course, but he aLso loves Gwen, and Tosh and Owen and Martha.
I think his love of the Doctor and of Rose also border that "in love"/"loves" deal. On one hand, the way he feels about those two are, imho, different then how he loves Gwen/Tosh/Owen/Martha mainly because I feel like Jack loves those four like he would his kids or family in general or something. Jack's infatuation with the Doctor and Rose are different then that, but that's also because he holds them on pedestals
But, I feel like Jack and Ianto didn't have that same relationship type? Jack generally treated Ianto as an equal, and not as a child? Nor did he hold him on a pedestal. He was just Ianto :/
So, yeah. That's why I feel that he was in love with Ianto
Edit Actually, someone on f!s said that they felt Jack wasn't in love with Ianto, but was in the process of falling in love with him, and I kind of agree with that?

siriuslynowI kind of feel like Children of Earth just screwed up everyone's notion of what the hell was going on with those two.

AND THEN THERE WAS /ANOTHER/ SECRET.
I understand that we see a deeper relationship with Jack and Gwen, but that's because Gwen's the Main Character. We follow Gwen around, see what Gwen sees. We only get to see any Jack/Ianto when Gwen notices the two of them.
Gwen spends a lot of time with Jack alone and so we get to see this development.
It's like saying that Jack has a deeper relationship with Gwen then he does with, like, Owen and Tosh. Because the series isn't /about/ either of those two, we only get to see glimpses of how Jack treats them.
^And this is coming from a chick who LOVES Gwen.
So, those make me mad >:(
And when I saw those, they reminded me of these, which make me sad!
THinking about Rose makes me cry. Thinking about Owen makes me cry. Double whammy.
DLM is one of the subtlety saddest shows ever. And like, it'd be all fun and games for 3/4th of the season, and then they'd just hit you with a really heavy episode and you'd go "Oh yeah."
And so George represents that for me and I agree with te anon 100%

this week's house was amazing.
First off, I forgot that I was attracted to Chase/Jesse Spencer, and yeah, his like, one line in this episode reminded me of that.
And I loved that this was like a DoctorHouselite episode. Like, maybe it's just the Whoniverse getting to me, but, I love when the main characters aren't around? Or, they are, but we're not watching /them/, you know? So this episode was A+
I loved the random Taub+Foreman "HOUSE HAS A NEW PATIENT" "BRB HE'S EXPLODING" etc because, wow, that is like the fucking show.
They could've done two episodes with this story: one week we have House's plot with their popcorn guy and just have Wilson emoing in the background, and then the next week have this episode.
But I also liked it on it's own and having this outside view of the Ducklings and how utterly ridic House's cases really are.
Also, about half way through, the only thing I could think about was "Why are House and Wilson still not together? I mean, how long do we have to have this HouseCuddy song and dance. Look at them, god. Beaten horse."
